contractions?

FTM here and I'm currently 35w5d and I'm having contractions about 5-7 mins apart. The only thing is these contractions don't really hurt, they're just a bit uncomfortable. I really don't want to go to the hospital just to be turned away. Has anyone ever experienced this?

In our class we were told to go to the hospital if they were 5-1-1. 5 contractions lasting 1 minute for 1 hour. I am a FTM as well so I really have no clue. You could also call your OB/Dr to see what they want you to do.

Thanks for the advice ladies. I'm heading to the hospital as they've gotten a lot more intense and I'm super nauseous. I tried calling my doctor but they're closed because of New Years. 🙄

If they don't hurt, aren't getting More intense, and stop if they stop when you put your feet up they are probably Braxton Hicks. 
That being said, you should still find out from your doctor at what point they want you to go in. For example, mine wants me to go if they are every 5 minutes or so for more than an hour; even if they don't hurt. Or if I start to have a lot of discharge accompanied by the contractions.
