glo question

Glo analyzes and syncs each time you add info on an ovulation test or bbp. I take temp daily and ovulation test. My ovulation tests have all been negative (been like that several months) so I have no idea if I am ovulating or not so I started take my temp over the past couole days my temp spiked and glo adjusted my fertile days and expected period start day. Why is that?
