I use other seasonings but I don't knowingly add salt to baby's food. If he ever wants to try a bite of mine he can and that may have salt on but in the smallest quantity.

Not so much as salt because I don't cook with salt, but she eats whatever we eat and I season food rather be cinnamon French toast or buttered sweet potatoes or even spaghetti or homemade macaroni and cheese. There's way more foods, but I'm not going to list every single thing LOL. I cook from scratch and make everything myself. No processed foods. She has been eating with us since six months old. Nine months today. There are se no no foods like meat because she doesn't have teeth, but she loved my salmon casserole dish the other night and loves fish sticks (ok, so that is a processed food, but I buy natural and organic and they only had three ingredients in them- cod and potatoes for starch to hold the bread crumbs on go read the ingredients on a box of Kraft macaroni and cheese and tell me that you want to eat it 😅😂😂)

I don't add a lot of salt to my food, and definitely don't salt my daughters. Most of the time I add just enough to let the salt enhance the other flavors, not to make it salty. She's still developing her sense of taste, I don't wanna get her used to overly salty food.

I don't add a lot of salt during the cooking process and certainly no extra salt when the dish is done. We're doing baby led weaning, so he eats what we do, for the most part. Sometimes i do his portion without the sauce (like bbq or soy) if I'm not comfortable with it for him.
