collecting baby items? early?

Hey mamas I'm 12 weeks tomorrow I was just wondering if anyone has starting preparing their baby's nursery? Since we should all be between 10-14 weeks along and are all still fairly early. Would you say I'm past the "critical" age to start?

I've already started buying stuff! And I started my registry today! I want to do most of it before I get too big to be able to move around comfortably

We have sort of started- we are replacing a ton of carpet for the baby and the nursery is one of the rooms. We bought an older house and can't imagine keeping the dirty carpet.

I'm 14 weeks 2 days today and we've bought the nursing chair and the nursery furniture. Too good of a price to pass up!

I've been slowly clearing out clutter from the room that will become our nursery. Also, just doing a lot of decluttering throughout the entire house. Once this is done, we'll paint and decorate the nursery. I want it to be done before my shower.

I think any time is good to start! I am 11 weeks with my second baby and after finding out the gender this week I will probably start slowly collecting things. I went into labor a month early with my first baby and her room wasn't ready and I hadn't gotten everything packed for the hospital. Expecting this baby to be early too so I plan to have everything in place by 30 weeks.

No not really. I already have the nursery from my previous baby. Its an owl themed neutral nursery so I'll just use it with this baby and however many more we have. All I'm doing is buying clothes once I find out the sex since I already have everything else
