Is Spray Tanning Safe?

I'm going on vacation in a week and I would like to actually feel cute. So I was considering getting a spray tan? The one by my house is a Versa Spa, not sure if that makes a difference? But do you guys think it's safe? Have you Gotten a spray tan while pregnant? Should I ask my doctor first?

I personally would not do it. Many of the sprays contain chemicals and not only are those chemicals absorbed through your skin but you can also inhale them. I'd check what ingredients before hand if you really want do it.

I get spray tans all the time. Anyone worried about the chemicals should definitely read the back of a lotion bottle. It's sadly all filled with chemicals 😕

I'm a beautician and use a Vegetable based Hypoallergenic Tan in my machine. It's probably got less chemicals than the standard face moisturiser or shower gel! I also have nose plugs to prevent clients and myself inhaling the spray. If you shop around you should be able to find a safe product. If they won't let you read the bottle then avoid them! Also, don't forget your skin can change when pregnant. Mine went really dry so I had to apply lots of barrier cream to stop it blotching x

I've had them in the past, I used to get a spray tan weekly but when I was pregnant they never took or would be very blotchy
