I'm 15 almost 16 and I have been dating my boyfriend for 10 months. I want to be sexually active and want to be the safest I can be, but my mom is very against birth control because she is super healthy and believes it is horrible for the body. My periods are also horrible and sometimes my cramps keep my bed ridden. They last 8-9 days with a heavy flow but I don't think my mom will let me get it! Please give me advice on how to talk to her about it.
