Too Young for Sex??

Question

I lost my Virginity to my best friend of five years and boyfriend of 5 months (same person) at the age of 19. I am still with my boyfriend and we've done it a few more times, However I feel incredibly guilty having to lie to my parents about being a virgin. Am I too young to be having sex?

No you aren't too young. Why do you have to lie? Do they just regularly ask if you're a virgin? It's not their business.

Why do you feel the need to lie to your parents about it ? I'm not being mean just asking ? And I feel like as long as you're being responsible when it comes to sex then you're old enough , Technically its not any of your parents business if you're having sex or not , I get that they want the best for you and for you to wait but ultimately its up to you.  And considering that the deed had been done , if it comes up just tell them the truth , and if you're not yet comfortable with being honest with them about it them just simply wait until you're ready .

As long as you're comfortable any age is fine. As long as you completely understand everything happening. I tell my parents I'm a virgin too or I wouldn't be allowed to see my boyfriend. I honestly think they know, because I used to be on birth control but now I have an iud.
