I have a huge kidney stone. Been in the hospital for days, I crawled in throwing up from pain. Can't pass stones so my options were being put under and have a Stint put in and changed every 3 weeks. The safer option was to have a nephrostomy tube put into my kidney. I did it with lidocaine only. Holy crazy seeing this surgery done on myself while awake. I pray this fixes the issues. The surgeon was shocked I did it with out pain killers or anesthesia. I didn't want to dope up the baby, I was so calm and the baby did great. I understand everyone is different and has choices, but this was best for me. Now I feel confident that I can do natural birth. Once the baby is born we can have the stones removed . This is just a safe temp fix to get me to the finish line
