baths and being pregnant ?

I have read way to much , any one have advice on taking baths while I only 7 weeks pregnant ?

Baths are fine just avoid very hot water! And definitely steer clear of hot tubs as they can cause birth defects

You can be sick with a fever and pregnant and baby tolerates it just fine. I doubt you'll ever take a bath hot enough to harm baby. I bathed nearly every night through all three of my pregnancies with no problem. Think about all the hundreds of years before showers were invented. I'm pretty sure pregnant women bathed! 😉

When you take a hot bath, your temperature rises and if it gets too high it can hurt the baby. Take a thermometer with you to the bath and take your temp every few minutes. If your body temp gets to 102°F, get out of the tub and cool off. Under 102 you should be just fine, but always consult your doctor.

I take a warm bath whenever I get super sore. Only about 10 mins but it relaxes me and help my body feel better. Just make sure the water isn't hot enough to turn your skin red.
