birth control

So my period has gotten so heavy over the past year and now it'll go through an extra heavy overnight pass the highest pad you can get in 2 hours tops and i talked to my mom about it and she said that she'll call the gyno. What will the gyno do? She won't look at me down there will she?(I'm not sexually active) I'm scared because I don't like people looking at me down there or being touched down there
