sip cup at 7 months ?

My daughter is 7 months and got teeth on bottom , my doctor said recommended 9 months go from bottle to sippie cup since easier then waiting till 12 months .  This is my 3rd child my next to oldest is 9 so i don't remember if i gave to him 8 th or 9 th month i will see how everything goes next month before trying that. What all think ?

I gave her a sippy cup by the time she started eating solids and drink water at 6 months

My baby just turned six months and I'm asking my doctor tomorrow about a sippy cup!

We introduced the sippy cup at about 6.5 months....she's interested but hasn't quite got the concept of it. I think she's taken maybe 1/2 oz total out of it in the two times we gave it to her. I plan on giving it to her with about an oz of juice every other day and just let her explore and try to figure it out. She's a few days shy of 7m
