Catheter caused a UTI??

So I had to have a urinary catheter bc I got an epidural 4 days ago. The next day I noticed that my urine was cloudy but I didn't have the sense of urgency that I normally got with my previous UTI's. I notified the nurses of this and they took a urine sample while I was still at the hospital. I'm now 4 days pp and inyrt havw to hear from them about the results. Now I'm even more worried bc today I noticed bright red blood from my urethra and it burns soooo much to pee...but still no sense of urgency. Could it be an advanced case of UTI? I never bled this much from my urethra before.
