Gas pains postpartum?
Does anyone still get gas pains since you've delivered? I had a c section and afterwards I had a really bad episode of gas pains while in the hospital where my whole abdomen hurt like hell. It hurt around my ribs, through to my back, from my chest to below belly button. It hurt to breathe in. My entire abdomen. Walking didn't help. It hurt so bad I was in tears. The only thing that helped was pain medication.
Well I'm nearly 8 weeks post partum and I STILL get these pains about once every couple of weeks. So far it hits me at night, waking me up. I take leftover pain medication from the hospital, sit in the living room w/ heating pads on my back and belly, still in tears crying it hurts so bad. Eventually the pain medication kicks in and I fall asleep. I pray these episodes never happen when my LO is awake and needs me.
Just wondering if this is happening to anyone else postpartum because I've never felt anything like this before having a baby.
