I remember I had a friend in high school that her grandmother raised her and she would never wear a tampom because her grandmother told her she had to have sex first to stretch the vagina so the tampon would fit. I remember thinking she was crazy and couldn't convince her otherwise

I think my aunt truly lost her virginity to a tampon... She was on a basketball trip in high school and started her period. My grandparents always said that you'd lose your virginity if you used a tampon. So when all the other girls had was tampons, she was forced to wear one. And she was embarrassed to ask anyone how to put it in. So she shoved the whole thing in and left it! Cardboard and all!!! And continued to play a game of basketball!!!
