I'm not sure how I should feel? From what he's told me, he had a traumatic experience with a girl and her period. She didn't tell him she was on it, and he ended up getting scared and grossed out when he went to the bathroom to clean up and he had blood all over him. Im understanding of that, but he also doesn't even try using a condom or having shower sex. He just avoids it. It makes me feel dirty and unattractive when he won't touch me all because of a little blood. I've told him it's not poisonous and can easily be rinsed off but he's still wary of it. Any advice for this particular situation would be lovely. I love sex while I'm on my period, and this is the first time I've ever felt any sort of shame or embarrassment about wanting sex during my time of the month. I don't like it and I want to get to a point where me and my partner both can feel comfortable with it.
