Gender?

Question

We got our ultrasound done today 16+5 but the tech couldn't  (hospital rules) tell us what we're having. My husband snapped this gem and im not sure but am I right in thinking that we're looking at a baby girl here?

I could be wrong, but looks to me like baby is facing the ultrasound, and I don't think you can tell what baby is in that position. Just my thoughts though. Generally you have to look between the legs.... if you aren't wanting to wait til 20 weeks to find out, there are private ultrasound places you can go to.
