Before I continue I've already called the doctor and am waiting for a call back

So I put my babe down for a nap the same way as usual and she was laying next to me and falling asleep but she kept waking up and kind of gasping for air as if she was trying to catch her breath. She did it pretty fast in less than a minute about 10 times. Then when she finally did fall asleep she would take a few quick breaths then there would be a pause for about 5 seconds then she'd take a few quick breaths again. This happened a few time and so I kind of woke her up and talked to her for a second and then she started to fall asleep normal. I'm not sure if she was having a weird dream or what but the way she was trying to catch her breath was the same way she breaths when the wind has hit her face outside and it takes her breath away because it's cold. The doctor is not currently there today so I'm waiting for his nurse to call me back but my sister said I should call but I wanted to see if anyone else has had their babies do something similar. She always sleep next to me in the bed and sometimes I have to prop her legs up with a pillow because it helps her with her gas and farts but that is all. Anyone????
