Hello ladies I'm hoping you guys can help me. I recently contacted father to let him knw I'm expecting. He excited and hopes we can build a relationship. Of course I want him in my child's life. I feel grandparents are important. I'm jus having a hard time telling him that I don't want his wife involved whatsoever. I'm not usually one to hold grudges but I can't respect this woman. My father and I haven't had a relationship in the past 14yrs because of his wife. When I was 11yrs old my dads wife told some family members "don't let Tay at ur house because she's a nasty little whore". Idk why she said these things about me and I was so upset. I respectfully addressed her about the issue. She became defensive and threatened to shoot me with the gun my dad got for her. My dad only got mad at me and refused to talk to me unless I apologized to her. They moved to North Carolina and I never heard from him again. I have many other issues with this woman but disrespecting me was my biggest issue. My dad wants to come to see me and be here when I give birth. I just don't know how to tell him that I don't want her around. I can't be fake and act like everything is ok. I miss my dad so much but I'd honestly rather him stay where he is than to bring her around me. Please give me some advice
