TTC while taking SSRI for depression and anxiety

Hello fellow glowgals,

I'd like to hear your experiences taking an SSRI while TTC and post pregnancy. The research isn't clear as to the safety of it. I've read the baby can have a low birth weight or birth defects.

I've been taking an SSRI off and on for five years and continuously for another five years. Honestly, it's kept me sane and alive. I have paralyzing panic attacks, major depression, and suicidal thoughts without it.

I worry about the effects it will have on my fetus when I become pregnant (have been TTC for 4 cycles). My husband and I have read the risks but would prefer to hear from people who have LIVED this.
