My advice on TTC 💞

🍎 • 💍 💑 ..due September 4th 💙💙
I just wanted to give some advice on things that I've learned when I was TTC.
1. You do not have to start taking prenatals before you are pregnant, it holds no significance to you. Not to mention all the excess vitamins you are taking, all that extra iron is not good for you.
2. Start taking your prenatals around 4 weeks, this is when the baby actually starts taking what it needs from you
3. TRACK YOUR OVULATION!!!!!! ....the most important thing!!. I myself didn't when me and my husband started TTC, and no wonder we didn't get our BFP those times. I'm glad I did this time around because we are expecting and it's good to know when you conceived hat way you can tell your doctors
4. ZINC ..not many people know this but zinc is the number one vitamin that's vital for male reproduction, if you are having a hard time or you want an "extra boost" get a multivitamin for your husband that has a good amount of zinc
5. Go on Amazon and get the easy@home ovulation pregnancy kit, you get 50 ovulation strips and 20 pregnancy tests, all for $20 plus 😱💞 ..don't waste money on those really expensive tests. You get much more for the same amount with easy@hone or any other strip brand.
6.  This may sound a little weird but definetly start planning or coming up with ideas for your baby shower, how you plan on giving birth, if you are going to use a mid wife or OB. It's always good to have a head start than to feel like you a rushing
7. What I would recommend instead of taking prenatals before you're pregnant Is to start juicing or making your own smoothies. I used Trader Joe's super red drink ITS AMAZING and is packed with antioxidants, it's 20 bucks *19.99 to be exact but gotta count the tax lol* but it's super worth it
8. Do your research on prenatals don't just pick up anything because it's cheap or the bottle looks pretty Lol. Try to go for whole food based or some Whole Foods. I use the honest company once daily it taste great and smells great. It's not completely whole food but it does have some in there, they do have one that is whole food but you have to take 3 a day and that would mean I would have to take 5 pills a day *my DHA is two pills* NOT HAPPENING LOL. Also use a prenatal vitamin with FOLATE NOT FOLIC ACID which is the synthetic version of folate
If I think of anything else I will continuously  edit to add ..baby dust to everyone ✨✨ and happy new year
