Will this effect my BC?

Question

So I've been taking bc pills for about 5 months now, anyways, I had to get a filling today at the dentist and I got an anesthetic. Period is suppose to come this Saturday, will my cycle on the pill be off now? Or will I not be protected?

I have no idea. I feel like the dentist should have told you if that would affect any medications you are on. I don't think it will affect your cycle or the pills... Unless you throw up later
