Tattoo after c-section?

When is it safe to get a tattoo over my incision? I'm 3 weeks postpartum.

I'm 8months pp and I wouldn't get it covered just yet.. maybe a year, it's sensitive kinda. But I love my scar, I don't wanna cover it so I can show it off to people that are so afraid and think they're ugly!!! 💗💗💗💗

To be honest I would wait a good while. Like a year or so. The nerves on and around the incision will be dead. Or at least mine are. I can’t feel a damn thing around my incision. I can poke with a needle or knife and not feel crap. Because of this I have thought about getting a tattoo there. But I’m not entirely sure yet.

I would definitely give it at least a year. But just so you're aware scar tissue is much more sensitive then normal skin. It will most likely be much more uncomfortable and painful.

I would wait at least till baby is 2yrs old. It takes at  2 yrs for a Csection scar to heal internally

I thought about getting one but haven't found a cool enough design yet. But, I'm also only 10 days PP and don't know what my scar will even look like.

No advice but ouch!! Lol. I imagine it being terribly painful over the scar tissue. I want something near mine but not on it. You're very brave 😂
