hubby just confessed
My husband suffers from ptsd and anxiety/depression. He's been medicated through the va for a few years now, he was shot in Iraq and ever since just hasn't been the same. We have a 9 and 6 year old and are having our third in just two weeks. Tonight as we were getting ready for bed, he snuggled up to my belly he says "you know this ones going to be a challenge" as he points to my belly. I asked what he meant and he says about how his anxiety and patience were somewhat normal with our older two when they were little and how he's a little worried about his anxiety issues this time around. Just putting this up as a little sigh of relief that he's finally opening up and letting me know he really is a little worried as when I've asked before if he was he'd just brush it off. I have no worries, he's a great man, great father and wonderful husband and I know that we will be just fine and him and our new little dude are going to be just as much best buds as he is with the older boys. I'm just happy he finally got his feelings off his chest. After our little talk he snuggled up to the bump and fell fast asleep!
