I didn't know amoxicillin can cause an yeast infection

So I was recently sick and the doctor prescribed me amoxicillin. But I didn't know it could give me an yeast infection(as said by google) . Ladies I need your help! What is the best over the counter meds that can help with the irritation and itching! Thanks!
