i don't wanna offend her

Soo where I live currently we have nannys and parans which are like godparents. My boyfriends best friend is a female but she is gay. So I'm wondering if im pregnant and we decide to ask her to be one of our kids godparent should i ask her to be a nanny(female) or paran(male). She classifies herself as female but my SO has made remarks in the passed that our child will call her uncle. Or should we try and combine nanny and paran together.?
