Pill vs Implant

I have almost had it with my period as my mood swings are really putting a strain on my family and I'm thinking of going on the pill or getting an implant to try to control it. I feel that I would be bad at taking a pill at the same time every day but my mum isn't so keen on the implant as she thinks it will mess up my reproductive system. I'm not sexually active fyi but I'm not sure what to do. Any advice?
