How do you feel about grade schools offering a day care program to their students?

I doubt it will make teens go "oh, now I can get pregnant!". It might actually decrease the rate of teen parent drop outs because they have a safe (free) place to send their kids while they still attend school.

I think it's a good idea. They can also add a class for the students who want to be pre school teachers or day care workers. (Can go learn in the nursery) the drop out rate will lower. I just would like the kids to be separated from the building so if a kid is crying it doesn't interrupt a class going on near by.

I was able to graduate at 19 years old because of a program like such. It is called the infant lab, it allowed up to 10 kids between 3 months and 2 years old, it was free but had its own cost. It was a class for students preparing a career in early childhood education, or other childcare careers, it was run by a program director and a teacher, we as the mothers had to attend what they called parenting class where we preped goods to sell at bakesales to keep our program running, we had guest speakers teaching us about banking and other programs to benefit us as well as extra time was spent making quilts for our babies. If mom was breastfeeding they could intercom the mom to come to the lab to feed baby, during spares it was mandtory to either be in the library working on schoolwork or be volunteering your time to help in the infant lab, our babies were in a heavily secured area where nobody could get in without knocking so no strangers could pose danger to our kids. If these programs wernt available i wouldnt have been able to graduate, i still go there to donate my childrens second hand item for struggling moms in need because i know how it is
