Any Nurses out there?

Taylor
I'm a new nurse I just graduated in May and have been working since June. I work nights and I use to be the first one done, helping other coworkers, and on top of my clinical work. 4 weeks ago I worked a 12 and after went to the ED because I have RUQ pain and Nausea. They did a all the labs and ultrasounds and my BS was 400 and I was in DKA. I knew I was a diabetic, but I didn't know I was a type 1. They also found gall bladder sludge. I had an emergent lap chole and stayed in the hospital 3 days being on the insulin pump and replacing electrolytes. I had to take a 2 week leave. I came back last week and I am not the same. I can't keep up with the work, I've been late getting off the floor I just feel like im falling apart. I work on a 32 bed PCU 4:1 ratio. The floor is heavy and always full. I just feel like crawling into a little ball and quitting. Shit always wants to fall apart right at shift change😣. I need some encouragement.
