what do you do to get rid of serve yeast infections?

I've been to the doc and got fluconazole and it's still pretty bad 3 days later. So what do u lady's to get rid of your yeast infections? I've tried everything! No scent soap ,yogurt tampon,vinger, wipes instead of tp, cotton undies,no scent detergent.

I went to the doctor 3 times for the same infection. She gave me a prescription and it was not better after. I went back again and she gave me a stronger prescription and that still didn't make it better. She then put me on birth control to fix what she thinks is the problem causing the infection. Birth control balances hormones and she thinks that's the problem for me. I've been on birth control for almost 3 months and it takes 3 months to completely balance your hormones. So here's hoping lol
