What are you bringing your babies home in?

I imagine it will still be cold in Feb. Is a baby grow, hat&socks, mittens and an all in one coat too much? Should I just stick to a blanket and forget the coat? I don't want him to be to cold or too hot so I'm confused on what to take to bring him home in..

I have pants and socks for her as well. She will also have a snowsuit type of thing to go over top of this.

Coat sounds like a hassle because you'd have to take it off before buckling into a car seat.  I don't know if you've heard yet but you can't but littles in puffy coats under car seat buckles.  When you hit the brakes or get in an accident, the coat compresses and the buckles aren't tight enough anymore to restrain the child.  They slip out and could get seriously hurt.  So you buckle them and then tuck a blanket or their coat over the top of the buckles

This is what my lil girl will be coming home in, it will be cold as its winter here 😨 a little outfit and a thick snowsuit but not overly padded because of the car seat. But she should be warm enough with the car seat cosey toes on.

I will have the baby in a long sleeved shirt, pants, small jacket, socks, and newborn hat.  I will have a thin receiving blanket tucked around her THEN I will have the cozy cover on the car seat.  This is our 4th baby.  I'm very confident in what I have chosen.

I have a little fleece sleeper that he'll wear.  Plus a hat and bundle him in a blanket. In Colorado so it will be 35-50 so not too bad.

still have no idea , it's usually still a little cold in San Diego in February . I was gonna go get him a outfit that comes with a little sweater , if not a warm one piece ( onesie & socks on underneath) with his beanie & mittens 🤔🤔🤔

Totally depends where you live. It's likely to be around -20 to -30c here when we bring baby home so it'll be in pants, socks, a long sleeve onesie, hat, and a cover over the whole car seat.

Since it has snowed and won't stop for awhile it will be a sleeper with a onesie under with socks. Hat and blanket. I definitely don't want to risk any jacket wearing while in the car seat.

Will be mid summer here so probably a summer onsie and pants lol
