Raising Awareness - Stillbirth

Kyandra
In Australia 6 babies a born without breath everyday (born after 20 weeks gestation). I'm not sure of the statistics around the world but it is still way higher than it should be....and numbers haven't decreased over the last 10 years.
Can I just say this isn't to scare anyone. It is about awareness and making sure people are monitoring their babies movements.
Please DO NOT HESITATE to get checked by a medical professional if something has change in movements, baby hasn't moved for a while, unexplained pain/cramps/discharge etc it's ridiculous how people keep coming on here asking for stranger opinions. Most of the time the answer is - GO SEE A MIDWIFE/DOCTOR & GET CHECKED OUT.
I know none of us like to think we'll be that person who loses their baby. But someone has to be that statistic. I have given birth to a baby without breath earlier this year. I feel there's not enough awareness around getting checked out if anything doesn't feel right!
