Ob/gyn nightmare.... need advice.

Has anyone found an ob/gyn that they absolutely love, that made you feel comfortable and confident with your pregnancy... but then when they are called away on emergencies their partner is a complete mess?? I'm seriously considering switching my care. I'm 23 weeks 3 days pregnant with twins went in for an appt yesterday. My doc was out the last 2 times I've gone... have never had an anatomy scan. Yesterday was told my cervix had rapidly shortened and then they rattled off a laundry list of other potential complications. Then told me "but there's nothing we can do until 24 weeks anyway so we will just see you in a few weeks". I was so upset because I'll be 24 weeks on Tuesday. If something needs to be done why wait weeks? Why haven't I had an anatomy scan? Why are all my appts 3 mins long. I honestly think the covering doc doesn't care and if I can't see my regular doctor I may need to go somewhere else.
