How can I ask my boyfriend to use my vibrator on me without asking/hurting his feelings?

I know that some guys have a weird relationship with sex toys in general, and my boyfriend is not a massive fan. Therefore, how can I hint to him that I want to try more things and be more experimental particularly in that area, without hurting his feelings, or making him feel like he's not doing a good enough job (which is not the case anyway, I just want to experiment a bit more). EDIT: I probably should have mentioned that he has used it in me once before, but never since then, should I use this experience as a way to bring it up again?
