Anybody induced for a VBAC?

Monday will be my 38 week appointment.. and just weighing out all possibilities of my sons arrival... I really don't want a csection again(been about 7years)... but also don't want to go past my DD as I'm eager.. (calling myself greedy lol) has anyone had the option of being induced for a VBAC??

If she doesn't let me .. I might go for the surgery. But seriously praying he comes on his own before hand🙏🏼

I'm going for a VBAC. My Dr said they will let me go to 41 weeks. I've decided if I make it that long I will just have a scheduled c-section. I was given the option of induction but the rate of success for the VBAC goes down with an induction, plus there is a higher chance of uterine rupture. The pitocin causes stronger and more intense contractions which is not good for a VBAC.  Good luck to you though in whatever you choose!

Most doctors don't induce TOLAC patients because it's dangerous. You have to go into natural labor. Our docs schedule the c section and say if you go before they will let you try

I am due tomorrow. My OB will not induce until 42 weeks, and even then she has said that she would only do the lowest dose possible. My emergency c-section with my daughter was 6 years ago, I do not want to go that route again. But I am so freaking miserable, I have been having prodromal labor for 4 weeks and my body is exhausted. I have discussed with my husband that if there are no changes and he hasn't made his appearance by our appointment on Monday, then we will schedule a c-section.
