going off birthcontrol sore nipples???

I just had a pulmanory embolism the weekend of Christmas (blood clot in lung) caused by my birthcontrol, so I had to stop it obviously. My period came that week and has been over for a week now. I am ovulating and my nipples are SORE as helllllll. Lol is this normal??? Highly unlikely chance of pregnancy because it's too early and my boyfriend is paranoid now, so we've been using condoms. Lol UGH
