I put mine under my pillow and it slipped behind the headboard in the middle of the night so looking for novel solutions!

I actually stick mine in between my mattress and my box spring with it sticking out halfway. That way it's accessible without getting out of bed, and doesn't get knocked off by myself or my pets in the middle of the night.

Mine is IN my nightstand or else my darn kittens knock it onto the floor.
