Anyone willing to give me some advice on this?

So my mum is rather bossy. She always wants things her way. Six months ago, when I first became sexually active, I asked her about getting on birth control. She refuses to let me take the pill, and since she won't compromise on anything I haven't been on birth control. With me being sexually active it's rather consering for me.. Does anyone have any idea how I can talk my mother into letting me take the pill? Just so I won't end up pregnant, or having to go behind her back to get it.
