Whats the point?

I took Femera-Letrozole 5mg this cycle and it did absolutely nothing. They confirmed that I did not ovulate at all. Yet all they are doing is bumping me up to 7.5mg... Am I totally crazy to think that's not enough? If 5 didn't do anything at all then why not try trigger shots or something else to help instead of just barely upping my meds... Ugh.

Same happened here, 5 did nothing so they bumped me up to 7.5, my progesterone level was only 4.3 so I will be bumped up to 10 of femera if not pregnant. I asked them about moving to IUI next month and they were very receptive to my wishes, hopefully you can talk to them and get things progressing faster!

Tell your doctor how you feel. Mine is really good at listening to me when I tell her that I want to get more aggressive or try something different with my meds and she works out a plan that takes my wishes into account. Tell him/her that you want to make sure you ovulate this month and that you're willing to move on to bigger meds. But one thing I can tell you is that those injectible meds that you can move on to are soooo incredibly expensive. Like $800-$1,500 a cycle (non-IVF). At least that's what I've paid and yikes it hurts the bank account. So if you can get letrozol alone to do it for you, it will really save you money. The other thing is that they have to monitor you more closely on those injectible meds which means more appointments. But if you are super impatient like I am, tell your doc that you're ready for injectibles and don't waste your time on a cycle plan that you don't believe in. Good luck!
