My step son is over 3 years old. He can barely put two words together and when he does, you can only understand him half the time. His mom still gives him bottles and baby food so that's all he asks for and then if we give him regular food he gorges himself until he gags and throws up. He's incredibly aggressive and destructive. I don't know what to do. We only have him some weekends because of the distance between our house and his mom's house so it feels like there's nothing I can do. His dad, (my husband) says there's nothing wrong with him but once when we were out with friends for drinks, he got pretty drunk and admitted that during his exes pregnancy, he was gone working away from home for months at a time and found out that she was drinking and using narcotics the entire pregnancy.

Update- talking to his mother isn't possible as she blocked me on every social media and refuses to acknowledge me because I married her ex (she was cheating on him with three men from before she even became pregnant) and no she has never taken him to see a doctor or a dentist's because she knows that if he has disabilities, it might be her fault.

Update 2- I should also mention that I have a daughter older then my step son so when I say he is destructive I mean more then an average child. I also do at home child care for a living and I have never met a child who is as destructive as my step son. And she has had CPS called on her at least a dozen times but nothing ever seems to happen. There isn't much we can do as far as getting him rested for autism or anything else because we only have him alternating weekends when specialists and clinics aren't open.
