Stretch marks on my crotch???!

So I shaved my area for the first time in awhile, and I saw a little red mark on the skin on top of my pubic bone, a couple of inches below my belly button. I figured it was just irritated from shaving. 
NOPE. Giant fuckin purple stretch mark. I'm so embarrassed. Who gets stretch marks there? I've gained a lot of weight recently due to my birth control but I never was really bothered until tonight. 
I have stretch marks all over but it's so embarrassing to have them there. What the heck can I do?

Girl, embrace your tiger stripes!!! It's totally normal! And to be honest, you notice that more than ANYONE else will, so don't worry about it 💕

Use "bio oil". I had purple stretch marks and after using that religiously they turned from purple to invisible (the only time I really notice them is in specific light) and they're white now instead of purple. You have to use it every day though, it really does work!

There's really nothing you can do to get rid of stretch marks. I have some on my pubic area as well from weight gain.

Exfoliate and do cremes and oils to try and lighten it? Or just leave a landing strip to cover it ?
