So my period has always been on the dot, and I don't remember my cycle ever going beyond 31 days at the most. Recently my husband and I are TTC and my body played a cruel joke on me.  I was almost 3 weeks late and during this time, every missed day that past I grew more and more excited but I put off taking the test because I didn't want to feel the disappointment, AGAIN. But this time was different in that I have NEVER been late before. So at the the 2 and a half week mark I took the test...negative. I was heartbroken...again. I'm 36 and now I with this new complicating factor of irregular cycles thrown in, I'm growing my weary about conceiving. There have been no recent changes physically or mentally in my life, does anybody have any input?
