Prego or Stress?

Update: Still no Aunt Flo, really starting to flip out :(
Had unprotected sex on Dec. 10. I started my peroid like an hour before. He pulled out and I got Aftera within 36 hours after. But..I'm two days late and freaking out. I've been sick, as well for about a month and a half. I guess my question is, could I be? Or am I psyching myself out?

Hun, I highly doubt you're pregnant. You're period is more than likely late from 3 things:
1. Plan B can delay your period, as it did for me for about a week.
2. Emotional stress from worry of being pregnant can delay your period
3. If you have been sick your period can be late because your body is under physical stress.

Try to relax, watch your favorite movie, and keep your head up. I doubt you're pregnant and I'm sure you're period will arrive.

Emergency contraceptives can delay a period up to a month. For me it's usually 2 weeks late

I've found that when I'm stressed about missing my period, it comes later. I think that we literally have the ability to think ourselves into this idea that we are pregnant and stress ourselves so badly that it affects our body. I'm sure you're fine! Also, as other ladies have said, EC's mess up your flow. Nothing wrong with taking a test though! Several places offer them for free! Best of luck!

Is aftera an emergency contraceptive? If so, EC can mess up your cycle and cause your period to be late.
