pain in cervix area?

Sometimes when I stand up I get pains that feel like they are kinda in my cervix/low vagina. They hurt and effect my walking for a minute sometimes if not make me stop. I can't tell if it's a tightening or what not I just feel pain. I usually hunch over or walk like a turtle until they go away. 
I got desperate and asked my grandma what contractions feel like because my first baby was a csection and I didn't feel my contractions with her.

They used to only come after sitting or laying for long periods of time but today it happened about 5 times in an hour all while getting up. My grandma said ifi was having contractions my water would break and as she says this I got a big fish of discharge. I'm guessing since it only happened once and nothing else. It has since then relaxed and I've been trying to get up really slowly and stuff to try to not bring it on. Are these contractions?? I might sound like an idiot but I'm honestly confused

Only about 20% of women have their water break on its own. Chances are you have been having contractions throughout your entire pregnancy--that's what Braxton Hicks are, they are "practice contractions" for the real deal! Labor contractions are much more intense and painful than Braxton Hicks, but your grandma is incorrect that you cannot have contractions without your water breaking. You can absolutely have contractions and be in labor without your water breaking!

The rule of thumb is to time your contractions and seek medical or birthing care once every contraction lasts for a full minute long, and occurs every five minutes or more frequently.

Also, the cervical pain you're feeling may be that you are actually feeling yourself beginning to dilate; a midwife, OB, or labor and delivery nurse can check and confirm this for you. Your body is slowly starting to get ready!

The same exact things are happening to me! Good job explaining how it feels too because I posted something like this and couldn't explain exactly how it felt the proper way. Lol 
I was wondering what's going on but now I know!! Our bodies are just preparing for labor. I still have till the 29th... hopefully babes will come just a tad earlier. Not too early cause I want him to be healthy but just a little early. So eager to meet him!

Totally normal, it's the pressure of the baby. Whenever my wee one moves it happens to me and stops me in my tracks.

I think it's the pressure of the baby and how they are positioned. It's awful ! I have it all the time . I walk around doubled over for about 5 min and then I'm good 😂

Yes I think I know what you're taking about. For me I feel almost like a pinching on my cervix. They mainly happen when I sit for a while then get up. I believe they are either BH or contractions. I keep forgetting to tell my OB about it, but I'll see him on Tuesday to ask.

And idk if it's relevant but my breasts are also feeling sore now too. Is all this normal?
