How do you know if baby is breach?

Should baby's head be at the bottom not at the top? I feel such strange feelings at the mo it's like he is kicking me but it's to the back of me and low down!! Anyone else had this? I had an MRI and his head is the same way as mine lol xx

How many weeks are you? Google says "When you are 30 weeks pregnant, your baby should be in a cephalic (head down) position. Unfortunately, this is not the case for at least 25% of expectant mothers. Even so, it is normal for a baby to turn their head at 34 weeks. It should be of concern only if your baby does not turn their head after the 36 week mark."

#1 You can tell the position of a baby based on where you feel the kicks (like you did).

#2you can also use your hands to feel your belly in the third trimester: their back will make your belly a hard(ish obviously) curve on one side will the other side will be squishy (because no baby is over there) and the back will end at a hard, kind of flat bottom at the very top of your belly if the baby is head down or in a round bump like how the back of your head feels if baby is breech. You can feel around your belly safely without hurting the baby with a decent amount of pressure. There's YouTube videos about it, search "belly mapping pregnancy".

Depends on how far along you are. I didn't know my first baby was breech (frank breech, she was folded in half with her butt where her head should be) until 36 weeks. Then I realized I never had the terrible pelvic pain others talked about because her head wasn't in my pelvis lol. That was really the only thing I could think of because I couldn't tell by feeling the outside or where her kicks were.
