Harmony test. Did anyone else decide to get it done?

Question

I got the Harmony blood test on Tuesday and am so anxious to hear everything is ok with my little one! We also opted to have them check the gender as well. I was excited to find out so early about the gender but someone told me that it's not always right? Has anyone heard of someone getting the blood test done and them finding out it was the wrong gender?

I had my blood drawn last Tuesday no results yet but I found online that it's 99.9 percent accurate

Just took my Harmony test on Thursday...now it's the waiting game 7-10 days 😒, I still have my ultrasound in February so I can make sure, I just want a healthy baby!!

I had the Panorama test, which is the same thing as Harmony. It was able to put my mind at ease earlier than waiting for an NT scan. I also found out we are having a little girl :) we had to pay out of pocket but Panorama settles the bill for 200$. If you are high risk or over 35, insurance will pay!

Yes the harmony test will say what the gender is. Every friend I have that has done it has been correct 😌 sometimes your insurance won't cover it so ask your OB if they will do it for you, they can file it a certain way to get it approved since its also a genetic test.

I got it! I'm over 35, so my chances are higher. We wanted to be prepared in case our child was born with special needs. Everything turned out great and found out it was a boy!

I am, mainly because my insurance covers it and I get another ultrasound out of it:)
