Does your newborn make eye contact while nursing ?? My babygirl is about to be 4 weeks old (she was born at 37 +1 day) & she has yet to make eye contact while breastfeeding. She just stares at my arm . Should I be concerned ??

My baby stares directly into my eyes while nursing and if I look away she pinches my nipple!

I think all babies are different. Don't stress

Mine typically closes her eyes while feeding, but does make eye contact at other times. She will be 4 weeks tomorrow, and was born at 37 weeks 3 days.

My son didn't really start making eye contact until around 2 months.
