I am currently 17 and going to get the implant to be more safe ,but I was wondering what are some pros and cons about it .?

I've been bleeding for 5 weeks straight, been using the nexplanon for over 3 years (this is my second implant) and I've had bleeding issues the whole time so bad I only get to have sex in the shower😣😣 if you're even slightly irregular I wouldn't go for it

I've had my implant since October 2015 so I was 16 at the time, I'm now 18 and I love it, it's the best choice I ever mad after being on the injection/shot for almost three years which is also good but the trip to the doctors every 3 months started to get abit annoying. I love my implant, me and my boyfriend find it a lot easier to have unprotected sex, it's not caused me any issues, I haven't had a period since it's been in, no weight gain, no skin problems! It's great!! Highly recommend
