Financial Rant
Does anyone else get frustrated when they hear of people they know trying to have kids when they can't even take care of themselves? I know that no one can ever be 100% financially ready but shouldn't you at least be slightly prepared? I know of people who don't even know if or when they'll get a paycheck and have to borrow money from people because they can't even afford gas. How do they think they'll be able to get a child to and fro appointments? Keep borrowing money? Then when you gotta start buying diapers, wipes, clothes, (formula if you can't breastfeed for some medical reason) what are you going to do? Sorry I'm just frustrated. A child deserves a better life than that and I feel it's selfish to bring a child into that. At least get a decent job so that you can afford to buy diapers and wipes and not have to depend on others. Like really?
Update: this is not about people who had kids and fell on hard times. This is about people who can't even take care of themselves but are actively trying to have a kid. I just feel like they should try to at least make sure they can support themselves without having to borrow money from people before TRYING to have a child.
