I've never done a diy face mask but I've tries two different hair masks. One consisted of an egg yolk, honey, and coconut oil. The other one was mayonnaise, avocado, coconut oil, and honey. I like to dampen my hair and apply them and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then I wash and condition.
