Menstrul Cup help?

Hello fellow ladies (and some men on here too!) I have had a Lunette cup for almost a year but I've never been able to successfully use it! I go to put it in and it hurts like hell!! If I do get it in then I get super intense cramps and then I have to take it out again and that hurts too! I've tried so many folds but it always seems to unfold too early or my fingers aren't long enough to push it up there. I have no problem using tampons but they are expensive and you can leave the cup in longer with no bad health affects! Anyone have any tips for me since my period is coming up in a few days and I really want to use it! Please help!! 😥
